Preparation Method :

  • The Tempering: Put the oil in a wok over medium heat. When the oil is hot add the tempering ingredients, over medium heat, till the mustard seeds splutter and the dhal turns golden.
  • Add the tempered seasonings to the cooked mango and stir well.
  • Add the sugar and ginger to the cooked mango, mix well.
  • Serve at room temperature. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 250 grams unripe mangoes with skin, chopped and cooked
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger

Tempering

  • 1 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • 1 dried red chili
  • ½ teaspoon black mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon urad dhal
