Preparation Method :

  • Rub the marinade over the fish and place in a covered dish and marinate for at least half an hour.
  • Add oil to a non-stick skillet. Pan-fry the fish, turning frequently, till it is golden brown and crisp. Fry them in several batches.
  • Drain the fish and place on the paper- lined platter. Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.


  • 500 Grams pomfret or other fish fillets, washed, drained and pat dried with paper towels
  • 75 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil


  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Red chili powder, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt, to taste
