Preparation Method :

  • Soak The dhal in water. Drain and Cook Well with turmeric powder.
  • Add Salt and mix well.
  • Heat sesame oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, urad dal, garlic, curry leaves and red chillies.
  • Transfer the above to the dhal and serve.


  • 75 grams toor dhal
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt, to taste
  • Few curry leaves, chopped
  • 3 dried red chillies
  • 2 teaspoon urad dal
  • 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
