Preparation Method :

  • Take 1 teaspoon of ghee in a heavy bottom pan add pista and roast for 1 minute on low flame.
  • Take out in a bowl and let it cool down completely.
  • Grind the pistachios in a mixer, to make a powder.
  • Take the powder in a bowl and add cardamom powder and khoya into it, and mix well.
  • Take sugar and water in a pan and cook on medium heat to form a sugar syrup of 1.5 thread consistency. Keep stirring.
  • When done switch off the flame and add the ground pistachio powder mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer it to ghee greased plate and cut into desired shape.


  • 200 grams Pista
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 100 grams Khoya
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom powder

    in the list of ingredients, its being written 100gms of ghee; while in preparation, at the very first point, its directed to use 1tsp of ghee. where goes the remaining ghee? whether the rest whole amount to be used just to grease the plate before cutting? clarification required. tnx.
