Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee in a heavy bottomed pan and add pitted dates in it.
  • Cook it for 5-6 minutes, add Almonds and Cashews.
  • Now cool it to room temperature.
  • Roll it into rectangle shape on a Plastic Sheet.
  • Now take milk powder in a bowl, add desiccated coconut, icing sugar and add Milk as required. Knead it to form a dough.
  • Roll out another rectangular shape from this milk powder dough on a Plastic Sheet.
  • Carefully place this Milk Powder Rectangle on top of the Dates Rectangle.
  • Now wrap to make a tight roll from it with the help of plastic sheet.
  • Keep this roll in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Cut it in to slices, sprinkle some sesame seeds on it and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams Pitted Dates
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee/Clarified Butter
  • 150 grams Milk powder
  • 2 tablespoon coarsely ground Almonds
  • 2 tablespoon coarsely ground Cashews
  • 50 grams Desiccated Coconut
  • 1 tablespoon Icing Sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoon Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame seeds
