LOW CALORIE PHIRNI

Preparation Method :

  • Soak the rice overnight and then grind it in a mixer with a little water till fine.
  • Boil the milk in a heavy bottomed saucepan.
  • Mix in the ground rice and dissolve well.
  • Add the condensed milk, stirring. Let it thicken. Add a few strands of saffron soaked in some warm milk. Mix well.
  • Put in individual porcelain bowls and chill. Garnish with raisins and tutti-frutti.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 litre milk
  • 100 grams rice
  • 400 ml condensed milk
  • A few strands saffron, nuts and tutti-frutti for garnishing
