Preparation Method :

  • Boil milk, stirring continuously till it reduces to half. Allow it cool.
  • Add the condensed milk and blend it well. Then add 1 cup cream, make sure not to blend for more time or else butter will be formed.
  • Stir in the sliced almonds with saffron and the cardamom powder.
  • Pour the mixture in kulfi moulds and freeze to chill.
  • Dip the mould in some warm water for a few seconds and unmould it while serving.


  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 litre milk
  • 400 ml condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons blanched, peeled and sliced almonds
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Few saffron strands dissolved in 1 tablespoon of warm milk
