Preparation Method :

  • Roast sesame seeds in a flat non stick pan for about 3 minutes till they start to change colour. Remove seeds from pan. Keep aside.
  • Put jaggery in the same hot pan and keep on medium heat for just a minute, till it just starts to melt. Switch off the heat. Keeping it on the same burner, stir the jaggery vigorously so that it melts completely.
  • Add sesame seeds and mix well. Remove from pan. Make laddoos while it is still hot with greased hands. If the mixture cools down, it becomes difficult to shape them into balls, so be careful when handling the hot mixture.



  • 100 grams sesame seeds
  • 150 grams jaggery, grate
  • 1 tablespoon ghee-to grease hands
