Preparation Method :

  • Chop dates finely.
  • Break the biscuits roughly into bite sized pieces.
  • Heat butter in a kadai in Low flame.
  • When the butter melts add sugar and keep on stirring till it melts.
  • Now add the dates and stir well till it blends well.
  • Switch off the flame and add the biscuit crumbs.
  • Mix well.
  • When the heat is reduced a bit add the whites of 2 eggs and mix well.
  • Take 2 rectangular aluminium foil sheets and divide the date mixture into these sheets on one end.
  • Now make into logs and roll the foils.
  • Refrigerate for an hour and then cut into rounds and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams Butter
  • 200 grams Dates (seedless)
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 200 grams arrowroot biscuits
  • 2 Eggs
