Preparation Method :

  • Heat ghee in a kadhai, add gum and stir fry on medium heat. Remove from ghee on a plate.
  • In the same ghee saute puffed lotus seeds for 4 minutes on low heat. Remove from kadhai and let them cool to become crisp.
  • Add almonds to the kadhai and stir fry till light golden. Remove from ghee. Keep aside. In a same ghee stir fry coriander seeds till light brown and drain from ghee.
  • Now blend gum in a grinder. Similarly grind all ingredients - lotus seeds, almond and coriander, in separate batches to a coarse powder.
  • Mix all the powdered ingredients well. Add grated coconut and mix well. Serve.



  • 100 grams coriander seeds
  • 4 tablespoon ghee
  • 50 grams gum
  • 50 grams puffed lotus seeds
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 50 grams powdered sugar
  • 100 grams grated dry whole coconut
