Preparation Method :

  • Soak urad dal in water for 1 hour. Grind urad dal with less amount of water to make a batter.
  • Add rice flour to the batter and mix well.
  • Mix sugar, cardamom powder and maida and mix well until sugar get combined to the batter.
  • Keep in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  • Use ladle for pouring the batter. Heat 500 ml oil in a kadai and low the flame.
  • Pour one ladle full of batter to the hot oil. Make 4 to 5 bondas at a time.
  • Cook in low flame. Cook until golden brown. Drain on tissue paper.


  • 250 grams black gram
  • 100 grams Rice flour
  • 6 tablespoon Maida
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 500 ml IDHAYAM MANTRA Peanut Oil
