Preparation Method :

  • Grind the paneer to a paste and mix in 6 tablespoons sugar, maida, khoya and baking powder and knead to a smooth mixture.
  • Take a little of this mixture and mix enough red colour and 1 tablespoon sugar, mix well, make this mixture into tiny balls.
  • Make paneer mixture into lime-sized balls stuff with red tiny balls and set aside.
  • Heat the pan and add sugar and 1 litre of water and prepare syrup for one- thread consistency. Remove from fire and set aside.
  • Heat the ghee till smoking, lower the heat and fry jamoons till turn black. Drain and put into the prepared syrup.
  • Sprinkle essence on top and set aside 8 hours.
  • And then, drain out the jamoons from the syrup, roll into ground sugar and put in pastry cases. 


  • 500 grams homemade Paneer
  • 2 kg sugar
  • 250 grams ground sugar
  • 10 grams maida
  • 200 grams khoya
  • Pinch of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon rose essence
  • ¼ teaspoon red food colouring
  • 500 ml ghee for deep frying
  • Pastry cases
