Preparation Method

  • Wash the poha in water and keep it aside for ten minutes.
  • Dry roast the roasted chana dhal and pound it.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil, temper curry leaves, mustard, when it splutters add urad dhal, red chilli, grated coconut and fry.
  • Fry until the coconut turns to golden brown.
  • Add the pound roasted chana dhal and stir.
  • Add poha, salt, stir well.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
