Preparation Method

  • Cook the potatoes, peel the skin and dice into cubes.
  • Chop the onions finely.
  • Chop the tomatoes lengthwise, finely.
  • Pound the pepper coarsely.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Saute onion and tomatoes.
  • Fry until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, peas and fry till the peas are cooked.
  • Pour the coconut extract.
  • Add coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and stir well.
  • When it starts to boil, flip the potatoes.
  • When the masala thickens, add the pound pepper powder, roasted fennel powder and curry leaves.
  • Stir well and remove from fire.
  • Serve hot.
