Preparation Method

  • Cook peas, potatoes and cauliflower.
  • Peel the potatoes and mash it.
  • Deseed and chop the capsicum finely.
  • Dice two onions finely and keep aside.
  • Dice one more onion and keep it separately.
  • Chop the green chillies and tomatoes finely.
  • Heat a pan with a table spoon of butter, when it starts to melt, saute onion.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
  • To this add capsicum and fry for four minutes and stir.
  • Add tomatoes and fry till soft and mushy.
  • Add chilli powder, paav bhaji masala and fry for two minutes.
  • Now add the cooked vegetables, mashed potatoes and stir well.
  • Add required amount of water, salt, turmeric powder, kasoori methi and fry well. Remove from fire and keep aside.
  • Slice the paav bun horizontally.
  • Heat a pan with required amount of butter and toast the paav buns for one to two minutes.
  • Add butter to the sides.
  • Place the toasted paav bun on a plate.
  • Top it with onion and coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with paav masala and a slice of lemon.
