Preparation Method

  • Wash the prawns and keep aside.
  • Smother prawns with turmeric powder and lemon juice and let it marinate for five minutes.
  • Pound red chillies, sesame seed and roasted chana dhal.
  • Mix the pound spices and salt to the prawns and let marinate it for ten minutes.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil, when it becomes hot,flip five to six prawns at a time and deep fry.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
