Preparation Method

  • Par boil rice and keep aside.
  • Dice the onions, carrot, ginger and garlic finely.
  • Crack the eggs in a bowl. Add a tablespoon of water, two pinch of salt and beat well.
  • Heat a pan with a tablespoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil, pour the beaten egg, scramble it and keep aside.
  • Heat a broad pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Saute onion, garlic and ginger for three minutes.
  • Toss carrots and peas.
  • To this add soy sauce, hoisin sauce and rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil and fry for two minutes.
  • Add the tofu pieces and fry for a minute.
  • Add the cooked rice and stir.
  • Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
