Preparation Method

  • Marinate the chicken pieces with curd and salt for twenty minutes
  • Grate the coconut and extract the milk.
  • Grind chilli powder, pepper powder, cumin  powder, coriander powder,
  • Shallots and garlic.  
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, add the ground masala and fry well.
  • To this add the marinated chicken pieces and simmer to  a low flame for five minutes.
  • Chop the ginger to thin circles and add it to the gravy.
  • Pour the coconut milk, turmeric powder, salt, stir well and close with a lid.
  • When the chicken is done and the gravy thickens remove from fire and serve.
