Preparation Method

  • Combine wheat flour, salt, one tablespoon of Idhayam sesame oil, required amount of hot water and knead it to a smooth dough,
  • Pressure cook the potatoes, peel the skin and mash it along with salt.
  • Heat a pan with two tablespoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, chaat masala, grated paneer, coriander leaves and stir once.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Make small balls out of the dough and roll into circles.
  • Place a tablespoon of the paneer mixture at the centre and close from all the sides.
  • Pat it to circles.
  • Heat a pan. Flip the parottas and drizzle ghee to the sides.
  • Simmer to a low flame and fry the parottas till crisp and brown on both the sides.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
