Preparation Method

  • Wash the fish and keep aside.
  • Dice the onions.
  • Slit the green chillies.
  • Soak the tamarind and extract it.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper mustard, when it splutters add, fenugreek and curry leaves.
  • Saute onion, green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Pour the tamarind extract the juice.
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, salt, ground garlic and stir well until the gravy thickens.
  • Add the fishes and allow it to boil.
  • When the fishes are done sprinkle coriander leaves.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
