Preparation Method

  • Soak the rice and fenugreek for three hours.
  • Soak the urad dhal for thirty  minutes.
  • Grind the urad dhal to a smooth batter and rice coarsely.
  • Mix together the rice batter and the urad dhal batter along with salt.
  • Allow it to ferment overnight.
  • Grease the idly plates with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Pour a ladle of batter in the moulds of the idlI plates and allow it to cook.
  • Serve hot.
