Preparation Method

  • Pressure cook the potatoes, peel the skin and mash it along with salt and turmeric powder.
  • Chop the onion and green chillies.
  • Heat a pan with a tablespoon with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper cinnamon and clove.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
  • To this add onion, green chillies and fry.
  • Add the mashed potatoes, turmeric powder, salt and stir well.
  • Remove from fire. Allow it to cool.
  • Shape into cutlets and coat with bread crumbs.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, when it becomes hot, flip the cutlets, deep fry both the sides till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
