Preparation Method

  • Peel the potatoes and chop into big pieces.
  • Peel the shallots.
  • Slit the green chillies.
  • Dice the ginger finely.
  • Grate the coconut, extract 250 ml of first milk and keep aside.
  • Extract for the second time and keep it separately.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Toss the potatoes.
  • Temper cinnamon, cloves.
  • Saute peeled shallots, green chilli and ginger for fiveminutes.
  • Pour the second extract and add salt.
  • When the potatoes are done and the gravy thickens, add ghee and the first extract, coriander leaves and lime juice.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
