Preparation Method

  • Soak idli rice, urad dhal, raw rice and fenugreek for about five hours.
  • Soak the poha separately.
  • Grind all the soaked varieties along with salt to the consistency of dosa batter.
  • Allow it to ferment for nine hours.
  • Heat a dosa pan.
  • Take a ladle of the batter and pour it at the centre of the pan.
  • Spread to a thick dosa.
  • Drizzle Idhayam sesame oil to the edges of the dosa.
  • Allow it to cook on both the sides.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
