Preparation Method

  • Soak rice for two hours.
  • Grind it and add buttermilk.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper mustard, when it splutters add urad dhal, curry leaves, chana dhal split red chillies, pour the rice - butter milk mixture salt and stir until it becomes thick.
  • Close with a lid and let it for five minutes.
  • Grease a tray with oil.
  • Pour the rice mixture and allow it to cool.
  • Dice into squares and serve.
