Preparation Method

  • Heat a heavy bottomed with water, add the pineapple pieces and allow it to boil.
  • Add ghee, sugar, yellow colour and second coconut extract.
  • When the pineapple is done, add the first coconut extract, condensed milk and remove from fire.
  • Roast the cashew nuts and raisins in ghee.
  • Add this to the payasam along with cardamom powder and serve.
