Preparation Method

  • Chop the green chillies to fine circles.
  • Dice the shallots finely.
  • Soak the tamarind and extract the juice.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, temper mustard and  add curry leaves.
  • Saute onion and green chillies.
  • Add the tamarind extract, salt turmeric powder and stir well.
  • Simmer to a low flame.
  • When the gravy thickens, remove from fire.
  • Can be used as pickle.
