Preparation Method

  • Boil water in a vessel with salt.
  • Allow it cool.
  • Dry roast mustard and pound it.
  • Add maavadu, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, mustard powder and mix well.
  • Close it with a thin muslin cloth.
  • Let it under sunlight for a week.
  • The  maavadus are shrunk, It is ready to use.
  • Store it in a jar and shake it once in two days.
