Preparation Method

  • Par boil the narthangai and chop it.
  • Heat a pan with five tablespoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil, when it becomes hot add the    
  • narthangai and fry slightly. Keep aside.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Add chilli powder, salt, asafoetida and stir well.
  • Dry roast mustard, fenugreek and pound them.
  • Let the narthangai soak for three – four days under sunlight.
  • Heat a pan with rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil and pour it to the soaked narthangai.
  • Add the pound spices and mix well.
  • Store in an airtight container.
