Preparation Method

  • Marinate the fishes with turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt for thirty minutes.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Toss the fish pieces  and keep aside.
  • Chop the ginger, garlic and green chillies to fine pieces.
  • Heat another pan with a tablespoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Fry the chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • Add  the fried fishes and stir. Remove from fire and transfer to a bowl.
  • In the same pan add rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Add chilli powder, vinegar, salt and stir well.
  • Remove from fire and allow it to cool.
  • Add this to the fish masala.
  • Dry roast fenugreek and  pound it. Mix it to the fish masala. Stir with great care.
  • Store  in an airtight container.
