Preparation Method

  • Heat a pan, dry roast sesame seed, six red chilli and grind it.
  • Soak the tamarind and extract it.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Temper mustard, curry leaves and rest of the red chilli.
  • Pour the tamarind extract, jaggery, salt and allow it to boil.
  • Add the ground sesame – chilli mixture and stir well.
  • Simmer to a low flame and fry for five minutes.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
