Preparation Method

To Make the Balls

  • Grind together minced mutton, ginger, garlic, green chillies, coriander leaves, cinnamon, cloves, shallots, fennel, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Mix them and make into lemon sized balls and keep aside.

 

To Make the Gravy

  • Heat a pan, dry roast red chilli, coriander seeds, cumin seed, cinnamon, cloves, poppy seed and fennel. Allow it to cool.
  • Grind cashew nuts and garlic along with the roasted spices.
  • Grate the coconut and extract 200 ml of milk.
  • Heat a broad pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper cinnamon, cloves and fennel. Saute onion.
  • Add the ground masala and fry till the raw smell goes.
  • Pour the coconut extract, add turmeric powder and salt.
