Preparation Method

  • Pressure cook mutton along with ginger – garlic paste turmeric powder and salt.
  • Chop the big onions lengthwise, finely.
  • Boil few amount of water.
  • Add onion, cinnamon, clove, green chilli, cashew nut and allow it to boil.
  • Grind the soaked spices along with poppy seeds to a fine paste.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry.
  • To this add coriander powder, cumin powder and fry for a minute.
  • Add the ground masala and fry well.
  • Toss the coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  • Adjust salt and fry until the raw smell goes.
  • Flip the cooked mutton and fry for five minutes.
  • Add fresh cream and let it boil just once.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
