Preparation Method

  • Clean the fish and keep aside.
  • Chop the onion and green chillies finely.
  • Dice the tomato into four pieces.  
  • Peel the Garlic.
  • Grind grated coconut, pepper powder, chilli powder, coriander powder to a fine paste.
  • Soak the tamarind and extract the juice.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil, temper mustard, fenugreek, green chilli, curry leaves, onion, tomato, garlic and fry well.
  • To this add the ground masala, fry for five minutes add the tamarind extract, turmeric powder, salt and stir well.
  • Flip the fishes and allow it to boil until the gravy thickens.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
