Dry salted seer fish 250 gms
Shallots 200 gms
Green chilli 6
Chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Mustard 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
Salt as required
Idhayam Sesame Oil 50 ml
Preparation Method
Cut the salted fish into pieces.
Chop the onions finely.
Chop the green chillies to thin circles.
Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
Add mustard, when it splutters add curry leaves, green chillies, onion and fry.
Add cumin powder, chilli powder and fry well.
Add the salted fish pieces and stir.
Salted fish contains salt, so add salt if required.
Remove from fire and serve hot with rice.
