Preparation Method

  • Dice the paneer into cubes.
  • Grind together two onion, ginger and garlic.
  • Grind the cashew nuts.
  • Dry roast the cumin seed  and pound it.
  • Slit green chillies.
  • Deseed the capsicum and cut into triangles.
  • Chop rest of the onions finely.
  • Grind the tomatoes and filter it.
  • Heat a pan with two tablespoon of butter, when it starts to melt add the ground onion mixture and fry until the raw smell goes.
  • Add chilli powder.
  • Pour the milk little by little along with the ground cashew nut paste.
  • Fry for three minutes.
  • To this add the tomato puree, cumin powder, garam masala, red colour powder, salt and
  • fry for five minutes.
  • Pour 200 ml of water and let it boil for three more minutes.
  • Sprinkle kasoori methi and stir.
  • Heat rest of the butter.
  • Saute chopped onion, green chilli, capsicum and paneer.
  • Add it to the masala and stir well.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
