Preparation Method

  • Chop cabbage roughly.
  • Chop onions finely.
  • Heat the pressure cooker with butter and saute onion.
  • Toss the cabbage for a minute.
  • Pour required amount of water. Close with the lid and place the weight.
  • Remove from fire when the cooker whistles once.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Grind the cabbage and filter it.
  • Heat a pan, add the rest of the butter when it starts to melt  add the corn flour and fry for a minute and pour the milk immediately.
  • Pour the filtered mixture and required amount of water.
  • When it starts to boil add white pepper, salt and mix well.
  • Remove from fire. Serve hot with salt biscuits or garlic bread.
