Preparation Method

  • Take medium sized mutton bones.
  • Chop onions and tomatoes.
  • Take 700 ml of water in a cooker.
  • Pressure cook the bones with turmeric powder.
  • When the cooker whistles once keep it in a low flame for ten minutes.
  • Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seed, pepper corn, fennel, red chilli and pound it.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan with Idhayam Sesame oil.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry.
  • To this add onion, tomatoes, stir and pour the cooked bone pieces along with the stock.
  • Add the pound powder, salt and allow it to boil for five minutes.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
