Preparation Method

  • Chop one carrot, 50 gms of cabbage, potato and onion.
  • Boil a cup of water in a cooker, add all the vegetables. Place the weight, when it whistles, simmer to a low flame for ten minutes.
  • Strain and reserve the stock.
  • Cook the peas in vegetable stock and keep aside.
  • Chop rest of the carrot and the cabbage finely.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Sprinkle aji-no-motto.
  • Toss the vegetables.
  • Pour the vegetable stock along with peas.
  • Add vinegar, soy sauce, pepper powder, sugar, salt and mix well.
  • Dilute corn flour in water and mix it to the vegetable stock.
  • Allow it to boil for three minutes. Remove from fire and serve hot in soup bowls.
