Preparation Method

  • Soak the karamani in water for two hours. Drain and cook it.
  • Chop onions finely.
  • Chop tomatoes lengthwise.
  • Peel garlic and keep aside.
  • Heat pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil. 
  • Saute onion, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and fry.
  • Add curry leaves, tomatoes, garlic and fry.
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and stir for five minutes.
  • Add water and allow it to boil.
  • To this add the cooked karamani.
  • When the masala thickens, remove from fire and serve with hot steamed rice.
