Preparation Method

  • Scrape the skin, wash and dice the yam into tiny cubes.
  • Dry roast fennel, pepper corn, cumin seed  and pound it finely and mix together with chilli powder, turmeric powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice to the spice powder and make into paste.
  • Coat the yam with ground masala and marinate for an hour.
  • Heat a non stick pan or a heavy bottomed pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Add the marinated yam pieces and fry in a low flame.
  • Drizzle Idhayam Sesame Oil. 
  • Fry till crisp. Remove from fire and serve hot.
