Preparation Method

  • Discard the outer skin and the thick centre part.
  • Chop the jack fruit into small pieces.
  • Boil water, add the chopped tender jackfruit and cook it and strain the water.
  • Chop the ginger and garlic finely.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper mustard, add chopped ginger, garlic and fry.
  • Add the cooked tender jack fruit, salt, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and stir well for five minutes in a low flame.
  • Add the grated coconut, coriander leaves, mint leaves and fry well.
  • Remove from fire and serve hot.
