Preparation Method

  • Soak urad dhal for half an hour, drain the water completely and grind it along with salt.
  • The batter must be soft and fluffy.
  • Chop the onions, green chillies, cabbage and curry leaves finely.
  • Mix cabbage, green chillies, fennel, onion, curry leaves to the ground batter.
  • Heat a deep frying pan with Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Soak your hand with water.
  • Take a ball of the batter, flatten it, make a hole at the centre.
  • Deep fry both the sides till crisp and brown.
  • Serve hot.
