Preparation Method

  • Pressure cook the minced mutton.
  • Cook the peas and keep aside.
  • Chop the onions and tomatoes finely.
  • Heat a pan with butter, temper cinnamon, black cardamom, cloves, bay leaf and stir.
  • Saute onions.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and fry well.
  • To this add the minced mutton, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, salt, peas and stir well until the water is absorbed completely.
  • Add cumin powder, garam masala and fry for three more minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and keep aside.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan with butter.
  • Chop the paav horizontally and toast it for three minutes. Add more of butter.
  • Serve hot with minced mutton masala and a slice of lemon.
