Preparation Method

  • Pierce the Brinjal with a fork. Heat it on direct flame, peel the skin and keep aside. 
  • Heat a pan with a tablespoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil. 
  • Temper urad dhal , chana dhal , tamarind, brinjal, turmeric powder, ginger, green chillies and fry for a while. 
  • Remove from fire and allow it to cool.
  • Grind it coarsely adding salt.
  • Take a pan with the rest of the Idhayam Sesame oil, temper mustard,  add the ground  brinjal and fry well.
  • Serve with Roti, Idli or Dosa.
