Preparation Method

  • Heat a pan with a teaspoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Add mustard, when it splutters add urad dhal, red chilli, coriander leaves, mint leaves, tamarind, garlic, ginger and fry well.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Add salt and grind it.
  • Heat rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil, temper with mustard, add the ground paste and fry in a low flame till the oil separates.
  • Serve hot with idly, dosa, curd rice and biriyani.
