Preparation Method

  • Discard the shell of the prawns leaving the tail.
  • Chop two inch of ginger finely.
  • Dice 1 inch ginger.
  • Soak the one inch of ginger, spring onion in a tablespoon of water for twenty minutes.
  • Marinate the prawns with salt, soaked ginger, spring onion water and chicken stock for about twenty minutes.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Saute garlic.
  • Add dry ginger powder, spring onion and fry for a minute.
  • Toss the prawns for three minutes.
  • Add chilli, finely chopped ginger, tomato ketchup and stir well.
  • Add vinegar, worcestershire sauce, simmer to a low flame and fry for five minutes.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Arrange the prawns on a plate sprinkle with sesame seed and serve.
