Preparation Method

  • Heat a teaspoon of Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Roast coriander seeds, pepper corn, tamarind, grated coconut until reddish brown.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Slit green chillies.
  • Chop shallots and garlic finely.
  • Heat another pan with rest of the Idhayam Sesame Oil.
  • Temper mustard and curry leaves, when it sizzles add shallots, garlic, green chilli, ginger and fry well.
  • Add the ground masala and fry until raw small goes.
  • To this add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and fry for two more minutes.
  • Add tomatoes and fry.
  • When the prawns are done, and the gravy thickens remove from fire and serve.
