Preparation Method

  • Chop the prawns finely.
  • Crack the eggs and beat it along with salt.
  • Cook the potatoes. Peel the skin.
  • Mash the potatoes along with salt.
  • Dice the onions.
  • Grind ginger and garlic.
  • Heat a pan with a tablespoon of Idhayam sesame oil.
  • Add ginger garlic paste fry and allow it to cool.
  • Mix together chopped prawns, mashed potatoes, onion, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder and vinegar.
  • Adjust salt.
  • Make the prawn mixture into the shape of cutlets.
  • Heat a pan with Idhayam sesame oil.
  • When it becomes hot, dip the cutlets in the beaten egg.
  • Coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Flip the cutlets into the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Remove from fire and serve.
