Preparation Method

  • Par boil rice with salt.
  • Drain the rice and allow it to cool.
  • Heat a broad pan with ghee, add cumin seed, when it splutters remove from fire.
  • Add the fried cumin to the rice and fry in a low flame.
  • Serve hot with paneer masala or chicken masala.
  • Optional: Chop the paneer to very tiny pieces. Fry in butter and add it to the rice. Serve Hot.
